We're partnering with Teen Science Café this year
Real scientists, real questions, and a relaxed space where girls can talk science on their own terms. Here's what the partnership means for our members.

We have big news to share. This year, The International Girls Academy is an official partner of Teen Science Café, a program that brings teens and working scientists together for casual, conversation-first events about the science shaping our world.
Teen Science Café events aren't lectures. They're relaxed gatherings where teens hear from researchers, try hands-on activities, and ask whatever questions they want. Teens help plan and lead the events themselves, which fits right in with how we work: learn by doing.
Why this partnership matters to us
Our S.T.E.M. workshops and camps have always been about helping girls see themselves in science. Too many girls are told, directly or not, that science isn't for them. We want every girl to meet people who look like her, sound like her, and are doing the work she's curious about.
Teen Science Café shares that belief. Together, we're opening more doors for girls aged 13 to 24 to explore science, build confidence speaking up, and practice the kind of leadership that starts with asking a good question.
When a young girl finds her spark, she has the potential to impact, change, and inspire the world.
Run by our Youth Advisory Board
We're especially excited that our café will be run and organized by members of our Youth Advisory Board. From choosing topics and inviting scientists to hosting each event, girls will lead every step. It's leadership in action, and it means our café is shaped by the girls it's built for.

What girls can expect
Conversations with scientists. Meet researchers and ask about their work, their path, and what a day on the job looks like.
Hands-on activities. Try the science for yourself instead of just hearing about it.
Leadership roles. Help plan, host, and shape events alongside other teens.
A welcoming space. No tests, no grades, no experience needed. Just curiosity.
How to get involved
Any girl can take part, regardless of educational status. We'll share event dates and sign-up details with our members through the year. If you're not a member yet, now is a great time to join.
