The International Girls Academy Kicks Off Nia Empowerment Academy for Summer 2026
This summer, The International Girls Academy (IGA) is excited to announce the launch of our Nia Empowerment Academy—a powerful, purpose-driven experience created to support girls in building confidence, leadership, and a deeper sense of self.
Rooted in the spirit of Nia, which means purpose, this academy is designed to help students strengthen their voice, develop practical skills, and grow in community with other young leaders.
Three Virtual Sessions
The Nia Empowerment Academy will take place across three virtual sessions in June, July, and August. Each session will build on the next, giving students the chance to reflect, learn, and apply what they’re developing in real time while staying connected with one another throughout the summer.
Students Will Receive a Stipend for Participation
At IGA, we believe in honoring students’ time, commitment, and growth. That’s why students accepted into the Nia Empowerment Academy will receive a stipend for their participation.
This stipend reflects what we know to be true: when young people show up to lead, learn, and pour into themselves, that effort deserves to be valued.
Enrollment Limited to 15 Students
To ensure the experience is personal, supportive, and high-impact, IGA is only accepting 15 students for the summer academy.
We’re intentionally keeping this cohort small so that each participant has room to be seen, heard, and coached in a way that supports real development and confidence-building.
