IGA Selected for Stop & Shop’s Give Local Community Bag Program

This May, The International Girls Academy (IGA) is honored to share some exciting news: we’ve been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Give Local Community Bag Program. That means that when you shop at Stop & Shop and purchase a reusable Give Back Bag, a portion of the proceeds is donated directly to IGA—supporting the work we do to uplift and empower girls in our community.
What is the Give Local Community Bag Program?
Stop & Shop’s Give Local Community Bag Program is a community-driven initiative designed to make giving back simple and accessible. Throughout the month of May, every time a shopper buys a participating reusable Community Bag at a local Stop & Shop location, IGA receives a donation from that purchase.
In other words: a routine grocery run can become a meaningful act of support for girls’ leadership, learning, wellness, and confidence-building.
Why This Matters to Us
