The International Girls Academy Receives a $5,000 Helping Hands Grant from the Allstate Foundation

We’re honored to share this exciting news: The International Girls Academy (IGA) has received a $5,000 Helping Hands grant from the Allstate Foundation to help us continue expanding our programming and deepening our impact across the community.

This grant is a meaningful vote of confidence in the work we do every day to create safe, culturally empowering community spaces that help our girls develop skills to translate into school success, career readiness, and lifelong confidence.

What This Support Means for IGA

As our programs grow, so does the need for resources that allow us to serve more girls and strengthen the systems that keep our work sustainable.

With this $5,000 grant, we’ll be able to support key areas of our growth, including:

  • Expanding access to programming for 100 more girls this upcoming school year

  • Strengthening mentorship and leadership experiences like career development events to help build confidence and character

  • Providing more materials and resources to enable each student to participate in hands-on activities like business development workshops and pitch competitions

  • Supporting community-based initiatives that encourage service, voice, and real-world impact

Thank You, Allstate Foundation!

IGA exists because our girls deserve spaces where they are celebrated, challenged, and supported. We’ve seen what happens when girls are given opportunity and affirmation: they speak up, they dream bigger, and they begin to envision themselves as leaders not “someday,” but right now

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Allstate Foundation for sharing this vision and investing in our young leaders.

With gratitude,

The International Girls Academy
