At The International Girls Academy, we believe every girl deserves to feel prepared, supported, and seen.
A Box of Hope + Love is our way of turning that belief into action—one box, one girl, one family at a time.
To date, we have distributed over 20,000 essential products to the community, including:
Dorm essentials for college-bound students
Homelessness support items and hygiene kits
Menstrual and sanitary pads
Everyday care items that bring comfort, dignity, and hope
Each box is more than what’s inside. It is a message:
You matter. You belong. Your dreams are worth investing in.
Our Impact
Through A Box of Hope + Love, IGA has:
Supported students transitioning to college with dorm essentials that help them feel safe and settled on day one
Partnered with schools, shelters, and community organizations to reach girls and families experiencing housing or financial insecurity
Helped reduce period poverty by providing sanitary pads and hygiene items so girls can stay focused on school and not on what they lack
Mobilized youth, families, and volunteers to pack and deliver boxes with intention, love, and encouragement
Every box reflects our mission to unite, uplift, and empower girls worldwide, grounded in the Nguzo Saba and community care.

Volunteer With A Box of Hope + Love
Volunteers are the heartbeat of this campaign. There are several ways to get involved:
Packing Days: Join us to sort donations, assemble boxes, and write personal notes of encouragement that go inside each box.
Host a Drive : Organize a collection drive at your school, workplace, faith community, or organization to gather dorm essentials, hygiene products, and other key items.
Distribution Support: Help us distribute boxes at partner schools, community events, shelters, or special giveaway days.
