Volunteer Guide β€” How to Help in One Hour

At International Girls Academy, we make it easy to plug in β€” even if you only have an hour.πŸŽ„

Your time helps our students practice their voice, build confidence, and feel seen by a caring community.

Volunteer with us in just one hour

  • Warm, welcoming, and simple to start. Choose a role that fits your day and we’ll guide you every step of the way.

  • Mock interviewer: Support five students with three short questions each. Share one strength and one suggestion so they leave encouraged and ready to grow.

  • Packing helper (Pink Holiday)- Label, sort, and pack wellness and learning kits. Every box you touch reaches a student or family who needs it.

  • Pitch listener- Join a practice circle, listen to quick demos, and offer two stars and one wish. Your presence builds brave spaces.

How to get started

1) Pick a date that works for you.

2) Tell us your superpower β€” what you love to do.

3) Show up. We’ll welcome you, brief you, and handle the details.

Tips for a great hour (the IGA way)

  • Lead with kindness and clarity

  • Keep time and model concise feedback

  • Celebrate progress over polish
