This inspiring event will take place in three vibrant locations:

Honoring Excellence Through the IGA Principles

This year, each award category is inspired by the International Girls Academy’s guiding Nguzo Saba principles, ensuring that every honoree not only excels in her field but also embodies the spirit of unity, self-determination, and community upliftment.

Award Categories & Names

• Ujamaa Business Excellence Award
  Recognizing a woman who exemplifies Cooperative Economics (Ujamaa) by building businesses that create opportunities and economic empowerment for her community.

• Nia Education Impact Award
  Honoring an educator or advocate whose Purpose (Nia) drives transformative change and uplifts students through dedication and vision.

• Umoja Rise Award for Corporate Stewardship
  Celebrating a leader who embodies Unity (Umoja) by fostering inclusive, positive, and collaborative workplace cultures and advancing equity.

• Kuumba Innovation & Technology Award
  Spotlighting a trailblazer who demonstrates Creativity (Kuumba) in leveraging technology and innovation to solve problems and inspire the next generation

• Kujichagulia Legal Excellence Award
  Honoring a woman who exemplifies Self-Determination (Kujichagulia) by advocating for justice, equity, and empowerment within the legal field.
